When I was about 15, my family and I took a trip to India for my cousin’s wedding. Before leaving was really stressful because my parents left a month before my grandfather and I and we were not sure if I would be able to go. I almost had to cancel my ticket because we didn’t find anything out until the day my parents left, now, if you have ever traveled out side of the country, you know that a month is not enough time for packing, shopping, etc but we made it work.
When I got to India, it was amazing gorgeous scenery, reuniting with family and making new friends. Weddings are always fun especially when it is a family one. It was undoubtedly a fabulous trip with all the dancing, singing, and inviting new family members into our family.
Even though the trip was only 10 days, they were astonishing yet stressful 10 days. Astonishing because I don’t remember the last time I saw so many jovial people, stressful because of so much make up home-work for school and the wedding together. If I learned anything from this trip it was if you don’t find out if you can get time off from school or work within a month of your travels, cancel your ticket, and if you do decide to go try to finish as much of your make-up work as you can before you travel.
