The Surprise Family Trip - My Family Travels

One night, my dad had told my sisters and I that he had a surprise for us in the morning. We were all excited to find out what it was so we all went to sleep early. We woke up in the morning to find all of our bags in the car.

We asked him what was going on, but he just replied, ‘It is a surprise and you’ll find out when we get there.’ After 12 hours, we found ourselves passing by bridges filled with snow and ice. My family had never seen snow before. My dad had taken us to Tennesse. We arrived there, and right away headed towards the mountains. The whole time this surprise was a family sking trip.

We all never expected it. We were all happy to see snow that, we ended up sking for 8 hours staight. Tennesse was full of museums, aquariams, and more. We had tried to visit every place possible. After we explored the Whole Tennesse and the Smokey Mountains, we packed our bags and were ready to leave. We entered the car, and unexpectedly my dad didnt take the highway back to Florida. He turned into the other direction.

My sisters and I just immediatly thought, he was going the wrong way. We all told him what we had figured out, but he just told us to not worry. After a day of traveling, we ended up in Wisconsin. When we arrived to this house we had never seen before, there was a whole group of people standing outside.

We all asked my dad who they were, and he answered, ‘These people are your family.’ We had not seen these people since we were young, so when they saw us, the all hugged us tightly.

We all gathered up with our family that we had not since in years and headed inside the house. This big house belonged to my uncle. After a couple of days getting to know my whole family, it was time to leave.

On our way home we began to talk about much we appreciated this trip. My dad was proud that we actually went along with this trip and that we actuallly liked it. This trip was a surprising trip and was one of the best trips I have ever been on. Thanks to my father, we actually got to see snow and we got to know our family.
