Costa Rica - My Family Travels

I had always believed that school trips could just not be any fun. I had been on field trips and such and seen the way you have about no freedom at all. That was until i took my sophomore trip to Costa Rica.

My mom had actually basically forced me to go, as bad as that sounds. But while i was there i had one of the best times of my life. The first night was actually really bad, our plane had trouble in the air 2 times which forced two extra stops and about 4 hours of delay, so needless to say we were all dead tired.

But when we got there we did a canopy tour and walked some metal bridges which was kinda scary since people were rocking it from side to side. We then did a zipline activity that takes you from one tree to another by way of a cord that you attach yourself to, that was an insane rush! And i myself am a fisherman so we had to try out the waters, it was extra money but well worth it. Anytime i go fishing you have to take your boat on a long trip to get to the fish.

Not there! We rode a boat for about 20 minutes with shore still in plain view and were on some great dorado fishing. We got plenty of fish in about 2-3 hours came back to the hotel, paid a lady to clean it and cook it and fed our whole group with plenty to spare, we even got a girl who swore she hated fish to try it and love it! I am also a soccer fanatic and the beach at one of our hotels provided plenty of space to get an epic beach soccer game underway. And the last fun thing we did was white water rafting which was also a big rush! We happened to almost flip our tube 3 times and even lost one person before we grabbed him and pulled him in.

We also gave some backto the community by getting small gifts from a store and bringing them to a local school in costa rica. All in all one of the most adventurous trips ive ever taken and i advise it to all. we went through explorica travels.
