My First Six Flags Trip with My Whole Family - My Family Travels

You may think that a fun and awesome family trip would be to somewhere like Disneyland, but for me, the perfect family trip was when I went to Six Flags with my whole family. I have gone to Six Flags before, but never with my whole family. One evening, two or three weeks before the trip, my family and I sat in the living room and we picked a day that we would go to Six Flags on. We chose June 28.

Waiting for that day to come was torture. We couldn’t eat, sleep, or watch television because all that was on our minds was Six Flags. The worst day was the night before because everyone was too excited to sleep, so my sisters and I stayed up for most of the night.

After six hours of sleep, the day we all have been waiting for finally arrived! The weather was perfect. It was sunny and it wasn’t too hot, it was absolutely perfect. The ride to Six Flags was very long or maybe it just seemed longer because we couldn’t wait.

We had the Six Flags Theme song on all the way there. When we were all about to explode because we couldn’t wait any longer, we saw the American Eagle roller coaster and we all started to scream and yell. Since we had the windows open and we were screaming very loudly, the passing cars looked at us as if we were crazy.

We got there early and the line to get in wasn’t long at all. Since it was the first time the whole family has gone to Six Flags together, we deiced to ride the Merry-Go-Round first and make it a family tradition. Even though it was a boring ride, I was having the time of my life.

My dad had a smile on his face the whole ride. The next ride that we went on was Superman. It was the scariest and the most fun of all the roller coasters. We went on all the rides in Six Flags. My dad made it so much fun! On all the rides that we took the pictures of, my dad looked like he was in labor.

We stayed at Six Flags until they closed and watched the firework display. On the ride home, we all, except for my dad, caught up on some sleep.

That was my favorite family trip ever! I hope this summer we take the same trip again and that it will be just as fun as this one.

Sounds like a fun trip! I’ve never been to Six Flags, but from what I hear it’s even better than Disney.
