Cruise of 2006 | My Family Travels

This was the first cruise that my family has ever been on. We cruised to the Carribean Island, mainly in Jamaica and the Camen Islands. When we first stepped on to the ship all we saw were golden stairs and a(n) elevator in the middle of the room.

There were cabins of both sides of where we were standing, we went towards the left. our cabin was so beautiful, the bed was nicely made with white sheets and a comforter. Its was like we were walking in to a snowy room with a pig made out of a towel on the bed.

closets on the left and bathroom on the right. When stepping out of the cabin there was a long stretched out hallway looking like a picture that caves in. Once getting use to the ship my brother and I left my mother at the front while we were outside of the inside of the ship either swiming in the salty ocean like pool or eating at the buffet with so many types of food, looks like a big feast for a party.

We cruised for five days. The ship stopped at the first Island, the Camen islands. Water crystally blue with orange clay houses and green palm trees is what we saw throughout the land.

My family and I hiked up the street and ate at a resturant which is unknown right now. While eatting fish and fries, there were chickens roaming the resturant like flies flying around your food. We really did not like the Camen Islands that much so we got back on the ship and did what ever we wanted.

The next day the ship arrived in Jamaica all that you could see was light blue water houses and activity areas on the left side. We stepped off the ship with hellos from many people from Jamaica. When entering the area there were people waiting for us.

They were our drivers for the day, they drove us to a small shopping area with multiple of stores on each side. My mother and I shopped for an hour, we bought shirts and hats and jewelry mostly shirst to give to other family members back home. After shopping we went site seeing, seeing beautiful houses on top of hills, many churchs on every side and many people walking, driving or riding bikes on streets.

We finally came to a place where you could climb rocks and see wonderful plants and mysterious places. We were able to climb the Dun River Falls. It was water falling from the top of rocks towards the bottom.

the rocks were slightly slippery and very adventurous. We had to hold hands to climb the rocks so that if we slip we have someone to help us up. when we got to the top of the falls we could see the beautiful blanket of blue water and an amazing sunset. While on top of the falls we came back to where we began to go up the falls. the person the guided us up gave us a dvd of the climb.

When we got back onto the ship my family and I took a shower and refreshed for the last night on the cruise. While on the cruise me and my brother made many friends either from gatherings or party bashes. This was one of the most amazing trips that my family and I had been on. I would recommend this trip to all families that want to get a way for vacation.
