My family loves to travel. When I was 17 we traveled to Hollywood Ca and it was so exciting. My mother has a home based business and the conference was held at Universal Studios for a whole week.
Imagine Hollywood for a week!! We left early in the morning and got on our plane at 6:00 a.m. it was a little small plane and I am 6’2 so I was like ‘Wow can I fit in here?’ We flew to Salt Lake City and had a 1 hr layover then we flew to Los Angeles. It was incredible.
My brother and I sat together and I got to sit next to the window. When we landed it was amazing LAX was HUGE the time different was weird also. When we drove on highway 101 there were 7 lanes traffic was everywhere!! Once we settled into our hotel which was in North Hollywood we dropped my mother and grandmother off at Universal Studios City walk for their conference.
We walked around with them and could not believe how big it was and that we were here. While they were at their conference my father, brother, and granddad went to visit the Staple Center, the Hollywood Sign, Grauman’s Chinese Theater, Hollywood Walk of Fame, and of course Universal Studios. While we were there my brother and I celebrated our birthdays so we felt like some pretty lucky kids to say that we flew to LA for our birthdays.
For my 18th birthday there was a conference in Las Vegas where we stayed at the MGM but that’s another story.
