Alabama. Beautiful.Stunning place, filled with mother nature’s fruit. Full of fresh air and crisp waters. With smiling people and friendly faces too. Some where I could get away from my stress and live alittle. That’s the reason why I love Alabama.
Spencer, Alabama , is where I went. It took ten hours to get there and ten hours back. I was more excited, then nervous about leaving Indiana for the first time. It meant the world to me. I just couldn’t believe I was going so far from home.
During the trip, we vistied many places. Gevena County for instant, everyone told me Gevena County had the oldest tree in Alabama. Sadly, plans where ruin. Gevena County was flooded out. I was so excited to see it.
My family knew how upset I was about Gevena. Soon they suprised me with a visit to the center of all that’s wonderful. A valley of flowers, so wonderous that the breeze knock the breathe out of me. Everytime the wind blew the smell of honey dew and jasmine filled my nose with happyness. It looked like something in a magazine. I was so suprised and joyful.
I never realized how beautiful nature was , until I got into the middle of it all. I learned alot out there , as a city girl. Like never take anything for granted. Life is too great to miss out on it. Enjoy life’s fruit so they can enjoy you.
In Alabama, it changed my ways of seeing things. Like family, friends, and loved ones. It taught me how to charish all that’s good. Love the people that want to be there for you.
Through this whole trip I had an experience of a life time. I went to see outside my bounderies and learn to love life.I never realized how greatful I was until I went to Alabama. From Gevena County to the mountains and the valleys. Now I know why they call it “Sweet Home Alabama”.
