My heart was beating faster than the speed of light and anticipation was rising inside me. It was the day of my first flight to Florida and to the happiest place of all– Disneyworld. I imagined what I could possibly do first. Should I go swimming in the hotel pool, go sightseeing, or just relax in the hotel room watching TV and movies? There were so many possibilities I could think of and I couldn’t decide on which activity should be first or last. I’ve been to Disneyland before and I thought that place was amazing, so I couldn’t wait to see what Disneyworld would be like. The thing I love the most about going on vacation with my family is getting to spend every living second with my parents and my little brother. We always have the best days together and I knew that as soon as I stepped off of that plane, it would be the beginning of a great new adventure. I stepped out into the cold fresh air of Orlando and I immediately took everything in, the traffic of the arrival lane, boarding hotel buses scattered across the airport parking lot, tourists just as excited as I was and locals glad to finally be home. The first thing I wanted to do was unpack and take a nice hot shower. Then I was going to go swimming in the hotel’s pool. Our room was so neat and clean, I was looking forward to spending the whole week here. Then my Auntie called us to see if we landed yet and she was going to visit us. I love coming to visit her in Florida because I always miss her so much since she moved away from Hawaii. This trip was important to me because it meant bonding with my family and family is a very important part of my life. I would say that family is very significant because they are always there for me and they try to help me in any way they can. I always have fun with my family and I couldn’t ask for a different family. They are the best thing I have in the world.
