This summer in June I went on the most exciting, breath taking, and life changing vacation I have been on in my entire life. This vacation was a weeklong cruise all throughout Alaska. We went to many different places and we did an amazing activity every time we made port.
Well it all started out with a near 7 hours of flight and even though that was a long time it gave me time to actually sit and do things I normally don't get to do because I am so busy with everything and always doing something. We then flew into Seattle and we did many things there and that was a trip in a trip in itself.
The next big event was getting on the cruise and seeing how large and spectacular it is and I was totally excited and just could not stop smiling from excitement. We got to our room and I did not realize how small the rooms could be but that’s ok we had a balcony view and that was gorgeous. We set sail and I began to call people in my family and tell them all about it.
While on the ship I looked at the daily schedule and every day I would pick and choose what I wanted to do. This cruise opened many doors of opportunity for me and one of those doors was exercising. The ship had free classes and I went to all of them so I began to train 3 times a day everyday on the cruise and it was great. Also on the ship I was eating very healthy and not having any preservatives in my foods and since I was exercising so much I was eating much more too. All the food was prepared by all of these different chefs and they did such a good job. So my diet and exercise habits were changed and also my knowledge was too. I learned how to do various dances and also how to have a good healthy lifestyle and how to maintain it.
With all of this information and change in everything I do I decided to keep these good habits and that was a life changing decision for me and I inform everyone about how to live a healthy life. Not only did I do all of that but I got to experience true relaxation in the spa!
Now I can talk about Alaska and we got to see the Hubbard Glacier from a distance and that was beautiful and to hear it break sounded like a flawless thunder. We did stop at Juneau and the city was not all that great but me and my mom went zip-lining and that was so cool the only down side was that we had to wait for 10 other people to take their turn but we still had fun.
The next excursion was whale watching and fishing, and so much went on in there. We saw many types of different sea life like sea otters and they were so very cute. The next excursion was kayaking and I got to see everything I studied in my marine biology so that was really neat and exciting.
Our last excursion was an international port in Canada called Victoria and we went to Butchart Gardens and everything that crosses the eyes is absolutely breath taking.
So much went on during this cruise I found a new healthy way of life, an experience to culture and natural beauty, and the best vacation ever and I hope everyone can go on an Alaskan cruise.
