Back in August of 2010, my family decided to go on a trip to Six Flags Over Georiga. We all agreed to take the same vehicle, which turned out to be both disastrous and hilarious at the same time!
Our first stop was the McDonalds just outside of town, where we stopped for breakfast. After going in to place our order, my sister's son found a food tray, in which he decided to ride down the slide in the play area. While trying to hurry to stop the act, my father accidentally spilled his piping hot coffee on a black man's pants whom was wearing a jersey that read 'FUJITA' on the back. It was cruel to do so, but because the jersey itself was funny to my sister and I, we began to laugh! The man glanced furiously at us, where we explained that the jersey was just plain funny to us, and that we hoped he wasn't burned too badly.
After a few hours of continuing on down the road, my menace of a nephew, Trenton, decided he needed to go to the bathroom. Because we were nowhere near a rest stop, he used his empty McDonalds cup to do his business in! After debating on what to do with the cup, he rolled down the window and threw it out, where it landed on the windshield of the Oldsmobile behind us!
Just minutes before arriving at the park, Trenton got mad at my sister, Kristie, and thought he would get her in trouble by mooning a police cruiser passing by! Luckily the policeman did not notice, and Trenton got beat by his mother's belt upon arrival at the park.
The rest of the day went like any other great day at an amusement park. We rode everything we could, and had a nice time… until we loaded up to go home.
All the way back home Trenton was hyper and most definitely awake, while everyone else made a miserable attempt at a peaceful nap. He not only yelled in the car and kept kicking the back of the seat, but he also jumped to the second row of the Ford Expedition, and placed ice down my napping mother's shirt. Of course, my dad pulled over while my sister gave Trenton a beating bad enough to make him want to sleep the rest of the way back.
After arriving back at home and a restless ride to my sister's car, her and Trenton headed back to their house. My mother was so relieved for them to be gone, she began to cry and headed straight to bed.
Never have we again went on a trip with my sister's son, nor do we plan on it!
