California Girl

     My family and I are always one to travel. We've been to almost every state. My favorite state would have to be California. It was so calm and carefree, unlike New York, which is where I am from. I find it weird when you go to some place out of state and the lifestyles are completely different. While we stayed in California, we managed to see every place you should see when visiting California. My favorite part of that vacation was the Grauman's Chinese Theater. I loved matching my hands to the celebrities hands. I was shocked when I was hand in hand with Marilyn Monroe. I felt as if I were a celebrity too. It was unreal. I also enjoyed seeing the celebrities homes. It is unbelievable seeing where the celebrities live and how big their houses are. I got to see Lauren Conrad in the flesh, although she wasn't too thrilled to be stalked by a tour bus. She is still a big inspiration to me. My family and I also took a stroll by Venice beach which was packed with people. It was still a great experience. There were so many unique people there and small boutiques that had little trinkets and accessories. I enjoyed lounging by the beach and listening to the music and watching people roll by on their skates. California was great place to visit in my opinion. Its upbeat but at the same time relaxing. I love to travel and see the different cultures and lifestyles of others. There is a whole world outside of New York and being young, I am able to go and so those places. I am very fortunate to visit many places such as California and one day when traveling I would like to make a difference in the places that I travel to. Traveling is a big part of me and my life and I will never give up an opportunity to visit another place.
