My siblings and I had the chance to go to Big Kahuna Waterpark (http://www.bigkahunas.com/). It was great because our parents were'nt around to rush us or anything. The park is pretty safe, so us wandering around wasn't an issue. We had so much fun there! We spent the whole day there and had a good time together without our parents around. There is always so much to do at Big Kahuna's. There's a lazy river for all the lazy people who just want to relax. There are many different waterslides ranging from simple to hold on for dear life. Everyone has something that they can do at Big Kahuna's. It's more than a waterpark though. There is a mini golf course, a go-kart track, and a few thrill rides. Big Kahuna's is a fun way to spend one whole day in Destin.
Now, the other great part of Destin is the shopping. There are two main shopping centers. They are the Destin Commons (http://www.destincommons.com/) and the Silver Sands Factory Stores (http://www.silversandsoutlet.com/index.aspx). Both are great places to shop, but we spent most of our time at the outlet mall. We shopped until we dropped! The mall contains a wide range of shores that provide great deals. We sure did buy several items. If you go to the outlet mall, be ready to spend. It's essentially inevitable.
Destin, Florida is a great vacation spot. One that I suggest to everybody. As a teenager, I find many things to do while there. It's also enjoyable for kids and adults alike. There is always something to do. There is never a boring day in Destin, Florida.
