It is a situation that caused me to see much impact because so many children in such precarious conditions, we feel like we can help not only with money but with food, clothing, shoes, etc.., Without neglecting the environment in which these people live and places that are unhealthy, unhygienic, it's hard to know today there are people who live in these deplorable conditions.
At the same time I could tell something so important that sometimes we fail to perceive is that these people despite living in such precarious conditions, they are optimistic, always have a smile to give and something very important that they always, always are willing to share what little they have.
I learned that there is no need to live in luxury to be happy, its more important to be with the family, and not to have the latest video game. I also learned that many times we complain because our parents can not buy another pair of shoes or because they can’t take us to see movies, and these children smile in spite of not having a pair of shoes or going to see movies.
What change in me or what impact it had on my experience? That we need to thank God for everything I have and not to complain about not having some things, appreciate what my parents can give and not ask for what I don’t need, as well as donating anything that we do not use to institutions and charities who need it. And above all be happy with what I have in my house and love my parents and siblings as the family is the greatest gift God has given us.
