Last summer, my family and I took a drive up to the NP of Michigan, but made a stop along the way. We stopped in Green Bay and stayed in the Residence Inn by Lambeau Field so that we could go to the stadium and check out their newly-attained Superbowl trophy. Once we made it downstairs into the Hall Of Fame, we went to the trophy room and there it was, gleaming from the light above it. It was a very emotional time , seeing it in person. Because I'm from a suburb of Chicago, so of course being a Packer fan here is something that is frowned upon. We both took pictures with the trophy, and some other poses such as the one on the statue of Curly Lambeau, doing his signature point, that we imitated. The next day, we hopped in the car and drove up to the Northern Peninsula of Michigan, and admired the view from our Cabin-style Holiday Inn hotel. We then went hiking, as well as went to the beach, although we didn't swim that much because Lake Superior is freezing year round! the sites were incredible and it was altogether an amazing trip.
