I originally live in Fort Worth,TX but in the summer I went to Maryland to work for my father. Midway through the summer my dad surprise my brothers and I with a trip to New York. Since I was a child have always dreamed of going to New York. The trip was for a few days and we traveled by a rental car. Since we left very early in the morning, most of the ride to New York I was asleep. The trip there took 4 hours long. Once we arrived in New York, we stayed in the Hyatt Hotel in Brooklyn. The hotel was amazing, great food, rooming, and the design of the interior of the hotel was the best I have ever seen. Once we settled in the hotel, we took our first stroll through the streets of Brooklyn. It was everything I thought it was, countless number of people walking, stores at every corner, and the traffic was out of control. It became late so we stopped by a Italian pizza restaurant. The food was fantastic, thin crust pizzas, chicken noddle soup, and endless pasta. The next day, the whole family decided to go to the shore. The board walk was so long with one side had rides, gift shops, and the food court; and the other side had the beach with calm waves. I went on all the rides, play loads of arcade games, walked on the beach, bought New York T-shirts, and played in the sand with my baby brother. We returned to the hotel to freshen up and begin our night. We took a two trains from Brooklyn to Manhattan for the best shopping experience. From Express to Macy's, there was so many shopping stores. I spent a my whole pay check in Manhattan Shopping area. We returned to the hotel with countless bags of clothes, shoes, etc. The next morning we left New York with a good feeling that we spent our time very wisely and I was so happy to have visited New York.
