When I was 14 years old, I went on one of the best vacations of my life. My mom took me to Antalya, Turkey. It was so incredibly magical that I cried when it was time to leave. We stayed at an amazing hotel called Varuna Vista: http://www.senkrontours.com/hotelsdetails.asp?arananhotel=A07080033&search=belek&aramaturu=location&class=any&pg=2 . Just about everything was as perfect as could be. There was an immense amount of great food served several times a day, and the customer service was extraordinary. A vast buffet was served early in the morning, late in the morning, lunchtime, at brunch, dinner and midnight soup was served. A smaller grill type buffet was located right on the beach for the hotel’s customers and it was open all day. The workers at the hotel spoke several languages so that all clients could be satisfied. A service to take care of children of all ages was also offered. The childcare providers spent time to think of creative activities for the children including drama, sports, games, swimming, and arts and crafts. The hotel had several pools, indoors and outdoors as well as water slides outdoors. A regular bus service included with the stay at the hotel took us to either the beach or the main tourist attractions. Both of those locations were spectacular. The water was clear and warm, and the beaches weren’t overcrowded. The tourist attractions were mesmerizing. If you love ancient history you will love Antalya. We visited the ancient coliseum, intricate tombs that were carved into a mountain, holy burial locations and flooded cities of past civilizations. We were busy every possible moment of that vacation with fun activities that left us amazed and filled us with memories. There are several boat companies that provide the glass bottom tours that allow you to view the sunken cities. You get very close to the ruins and can see the structure of the buildings and the pottery that was left behind. As you are scouting the are for the most scenic locations, you also get to see the colorful reefs and marine life that is covering the reefs by Antalya.
