Between the lifestyles of Hollywood, California and the haunting encounters on the Queen Mary located in Long Beach California, I had the adventure of my life. This has been my third time visiting California but none of my experiences have been as good as this.
My first Visit was Disneyland in 2009 with my school Choir
My second visit was the summer of 2011 to play basketball at Santa Monica, and San Diego. That was a wonderful time, except i played 2 weeks of basketball while not knowing i had broken my hand.
My most recent visit was to stay on the lovely Queen Mary, and visit Hollywood, Calabasas, and Malibu. Los Angeles is a place i have found very interesting to me and would love to live there someday. The Queen Mary was something i had wanted to visit for a very long time, and with a surprise trip to stay on it from my grandma made everything perfect. If you didn't know the Queen Mary is, it's the top sixth haunted place in the United States. It had been kept on the shore of Long Beach, California since December 9, 1967. While it was still in use it was a major luxury ship, and later named "The Grey Ghost" after serving time in the war. History has played a main role in the hauntings aboard the ship. While i was in California i also got to visit Hollywood. I was amazed at how far ahead they are in technology, and it was always nice to see the famous Marilyn Monroe star on the strip. I also visited Madame Tussauds famous Wax Sculptures. My cousin is a resident of Calabasas, so one day we visited her and she gave us the amazing tour of Malibu. It was like a scene from a moving driving down the valley. It sort of looked like a tropical scene from Jurassic Park. From all my adventures down there i was very grateful for the experience i was given. My grandmother is the best and couldn't ask for someone so amazing!
