I have recently retired from my job of 30 years. I have been in the automotive business for my entire employment – since 1979 (42 years).

I currently hold a class “A” CDL driver license. I do not drive tractor trailer combinations.
Safe driver endorsement, no accidents, no tickets in over 45 years, non-smoker, non-drug user, no criminal record (something I am proud to say).

I have a 49 point pre-trip, safety inspection checklist for your vehicle and will treat your vehicle as if it were my own. I will take pictures before and after the trip of all 4 sides of any vehicle I drive.

I am willing to share my entire ride with you on Google maps. That means you can see my location in real time,
I will not break down each and every dollar, such as hourly rate, gas/fuel, mileage, hotel, meals, tolls, airfare, transportation to you and the airport. That is a pain for you, the customer.
Keep it simple.
You give me all the information, start address, ending address, date for pick up and drop off, I will get back to you with one price.

Assure your insurance covers other drivers, (for the trip.)

I can accept all forms of payment, credit cards, PayPal, Venmo…..

I can help drive your car to Chicago. I’m planning to visit my friends in Chicago this Summer (can start anytime now). I have been looking for various one-way car rentals so this would be a great option.

I’m a UCLA graduate (class of 2013), currently employed by Google. I have a clean driving record, can provide a clean background check and references if you’d like. I can safely transfer your car from AZ to Chicago. Coincidentally, my car at home right now is also a Lexus SUV. It’s an 200t. I also have experience driving the hybrid models (so great on gas and easy to drive) from my loaners from the dealership when my car has been serviced.

As this is convenient and beneficial for both parties, I won’t charge daily or hourly rates. We can negotiate on timing desired and any fuel charges.

It is a 42 hour drive from Irvine to Branchburg, NJ. I charge $10 an hour driving time so my driving cost is $420 plus expenses. Expenses are:

Either a bus ticket $16 to Long Beach or $100 for my wife to drive me to Irvine and pick me up on my return.
