Every year the Belles et Beaux show choir takes a trip to end the competition season. This year we were going to Branson, Missouri. We were scheduled to leave Thursday and return on Sunday. While in Branson we had the opportunity to attend several shows. The Six Brothers, The Duttons, And the showboat Branson Belle were my favorites. The Branson Belle was by far the best part of the trip, though. We were served great food and had the opportunity to learn some things about the town. The most interesting fact was how the Branson Belle was transported into the lake. People in the town literally went bananas. Using a ramp and several smashed bananas the Branson communtiy was able to get the Belle floating for the first time. This trip was one of the best experiences of my life, and I was able to learn several things. The best part about the trip, though, was on the way home. Of course after a four day trip you are going to be exhausted, so I fell asleep on the bus. Being the most attractive sleeper in the world I forgot about my habit of sleeping with my mouth open. There is nothing worse than waking up to an entire bus laughing at you while they snap pictures. Needless to say my beautiful mug was posted on myspace and facebook within an hour of returning home. The best lesson I learned on this trip was, if you fall asleep make sure no one has a camera, or tape your jaw shut.
