Disney World, the place where dreams come true, allowed me to re-live my childhood for a day, and it was an experience that I will never forget. I visited it for the first time ever with my family during the summer of 2008. It was amazing. Seeing the Disney characters from movies at the park brought back so many childhood memories. The whole park was “magical” from the enchanted castle to the rush of adrenaline I received from flying through the air on the awesome rides.

During the day, a parade of Disney characters strolled through the park. It was amazing to watch them go by while memories from my childhood flooded my mind. Mickey. Minnie. Donald Duck. Cinderella. The villains from the movies. They were all on spectacular floats. That was one of the major highlights of my day.
There was also a nighttime parade. This one was just as good, if not better, than the one we had seen earlier in the day. There were glistening lights on every float, and music was playing for everyone to enjoy. Seeing the Disney characters was really nice, but seeing them at night with lights shimmering from every angle was electrifying.

Disney World was amazing and honestly, I am thankful that my parents did not take me when I was younger. I am glad that they waited until this past summer because if they had not waited until then, I might not remember it as well. It is an experience that I never want to forget. It was absolutely wonderful!
