Dear Mom and Dad,
Do you remember when I used to cut out all of the pictures of Italy and France and post them all over my wall? I used to just sit there and stare at them; in awe at all of the beauty the other side of the world had to offer. I wanted to be there more than anything! Now as I’m writing this letter to you, I’m looking at everything I’ve dreamed of seeing for so long. As I was on top of the Eiffel Tower gazing over the city of Paris, the captivating view made me realize how thankful I am to have parents like you that have sacrificed so much to get me here. I wouldn’t have witnessed the blue beaches or Sagrida Família, a unique and intricate cathedral in Barcelona, Spain. It’s been my favorite destination on the trip because of their amazing culture and lifestyle.
In Italy we saw ancient Roman Ruins like the Coliseum and the skeletons of the palaces that have remained standing in the heart of Rome. It amazes me that even the road that was once traveled on by chariots and famous roman emperors was still embedded in the ground so I could walk on it to experience what the Romans left behind. If it wasn’t for you guys I wouldn’t have visited the two smallest countries in the world: The Vatican and Monaco. Vatican City was such a learning experience! Very few people can say they saw the great Michael Angelo's paintings on the walls of the Sistine Chapel, despite how ancient, they were remarkably in prestine condition.
The views in Monaco were breathtaking; the whole country looked over a single coast line of the Mediterranean Sea. It was filled with expensive yachts bigger than our house! Although we couldn’t ride in the yachts, they helped make excellent pictures. I’ve had the time of my life on this trip; I will remember my experiences in Europe for the rest of my life! Its crazy to think this trip is winding to an end, all of this fun has made me lose track of time. I can’t wait to see each one of you at the airport. Traveling to Europe has been a dream of mine since I can remember, the people I saw and the things I experienced all happened because of the wonderful family that I’m blessed with. Being so far away from home has taught me that no matter where life takes me, everything I am today is because of my family and they are truly the best experience on the planet! Its crazy to think this trip is winding to an end, all of this fun has made me lose track of time.I cant wait to see each one of you at the air port as i get off the plane. Au revoir! Chow! Adios!
