Our Hawaiian Dream Vacation - My Family Travels
IMG_2503

In June, 2011 my family and I went to Maui, Hawaii for a week. This was provided to us through Make-A-Wish. My 14 year old brother, Zacahary, is a heart patient and he chose a vacation to Hawaii for his wish. It was in the beginning of the summer so we were surrounded by many people and of course the great Hawaiian sun. We went on a dolphin watching/ snorkeling cruise, biked down a volcanoe at 4 a.m. before sunrise, and attended a laua which was honestly one of my favorite parts of the trip. We had a really great time because we had the ability to reconnect as a family and spend some much needed time together. We rented a hard top jeep wrangler which let us take off the top and enjoy the breezes that were provided to us. We witnessed the daily showers and the perfectly blue waters of the ocean. We love eat and we ate at some of the tastiest places I have ever been to. When the week  ended, we could not believe that we were supposed to be on a plane soon. As much as we wanted to stay, we knew all things had to come to an end and we cherished the memories that we made just by sitting at the pool and eating pineapple. This was one the greates experiences of my life, especially since none of us had ever been to Hawaii, it was really nice to experience it all together with the people I value most in my life. There was not one downfall or anything I would do differently. I am so extremely blessed that I was able to have the vacation of a lifetime.
