A Taste of Temecula - My Family Travels

Temecula, California, located in Riverside county is the hub of entertainment and excitement. Incorporated in 1989, it has been expanding in colossal proportions since then. No matter how old you are, I guarantee there is always something for you to do here!

Come visit Old Town, a main attraction of the city. It has a rustic charm that is hard to resist. Some notable points of interest are the Temecula Olive Oil Company, Pennypickle’s Workshop (a children’s museum), and¬†the Community Theater. Aside from those, there are a plethora of other places to visit such as specialty shops, antique stores, restaurants, and bars. There are live performances daily and festivals happening all the time!


Pechanga Resort and Casino is just minutes away. Enjoy live performances, try your luck at the casino, relax at the resort, rejuvenate at the spa, dine to your heart’s content, or enjoy a game of golf here! The buffet here is excellent and highly recommended.


Shop till you drop at the Promenade Mall! With hundreds of stores and restaurants to see, you’ll never get bored. Catch a movie at Edwards Cinemas or design a ceramic piece at Paint A Dream!¬†There’s fun for everyone here.

Spend some time at the Temeku Hills Golf Course and Country Club. This serene venue is perfect for events such as weddings and business meetings. And of course, there’s golfing too!

There are over 35,000 acres of hills and vineyards in Temecula dedicated to our locally made wine. Come visit one of the 35 wineries we have to offer here, where you will be able to sample and purchase the finest wine we have to offer. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can also participate in many exciting activities such as the plane or biplane adventure by California Dreamin’ as well as a Jeep and wine safari by Sunrider Wine Tours!
